"My contribution to “What a cup knows", are sculptural explorations of simple cup forms that play with expanding exteriors and possible extremities, (as in feet, handles, and lids.) Finishes are Fancy, with colourful and wildly patterned surfaces responding to form. Using traditional vessel forms as my starting point, I aim to challenge expectations of what a cup can be. And in the end, the cup serves (knowingly?) as a document of the experience, both mine in the creation and that of its user."
