Biography
Peter and his family live northeast of St. Paul/Minneapolis in the St. Croix River Valley. Peter makes pots at his home studio, where he also hosts two annual sales. Peter went to Bemidji State University where received a B.F.A in Ceramics in 1998, since then he's been making pots in the Minnesota Clay Community.
Artist Statement
I make pots that focus on blending a sculptural presence and a comic book narrative. The pots are made with the use of the pottery wheel and hand building techniques. I brush the pots with slips, and underglazes and fire them to Cone 2 in Soda and Electric kiln atmospheres.
